Welcome to our engineering organization, a group of globally distributed engineers who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the world through our work building software to improve clinical trials. We are building a global platform operating in over six AWS regions with users in over 60 countries. Clinical trials is a deep, complex and highly regulated domain, a domain in which we build software in a fast, efficient and high quality manner.
Our automation team is responsible for designing test strategies, approaches, and scenarios with an intense focus on customer user cases in the clinical trial space. The test automation team focuses on end-end performance and exploratory testing, in addition to designing test infrastructure; ensuring our test coverage meets compliance requirements. By leveraging state-of-the-art tooling, our team identifies hot-spots and problems areas within our codebase and creates test plans for new features and products, to ensure confidence and predictability in our products.
Our Site Reliability Engineering team is responsible for delivering platform solutions to the broader engineering organization in a global setting. As part of our team you will help create, manage, and deploy infrastructure-as-a-code, monitor tracing services, troubleshoot performance problems and system outages, and configure and manage AWS services. To date, we have modernized deployment practices by automating all manual steps into CI/CD pipelines, created paved paths consisting of shared libraries, template repositories, and streamlined the onboarding processes. A new engineer can now deploy a new service into production in less than 1 day.
Our Product Engineering team delivers high quality SaaS product offerings and services that solve complex problems in the healthcare space. Our team builds partner integrations (APIs), reporting, foundational systems for future application development, websites for clinical trial enrollment, self-service systems, and robust architecture for long-term use. We also enable and standardize foundational technology to increase reliability, promote compositional design and focus developer effort on work with customer support.
As product-focused engineers, we build software that has the most value to our customers using the right tools for the job. We value taking ownership of our work and being accountable for our actions. We understand that mistakes will happen, but we believe in learning from them and using them as opportunities for growth. We encourage our team members to be curious, to ask questions and to never stop learning.
Above all, we are a highly empathetic team. We treat each other with respect and kindness while always assuming the best intent. We all take ownership of the opportunity and responsibility of directly impacting people's lives. We constantly come back to the true north of customer needs, directly improving the clinical trial journey for our partners and their patients. We prioritize the needs and experiences of our end-users and strive to create software that is intuitive, globally accessible and can scale with business needs.
